Authors are invited to indicate their preferred presentation format. While the author's presentation preference will be considered, the Board of BELVIR reserves the right to make the final decision on the presentation format after the review process.

Abstract review

Abstracts submitted on time and fulfilling the format requirements will be reviewed by the Board members. After careful evaluation, abstracts will be either accepted or rejected.

From the accepted abstracts, and taking into account the importance of thematic diversity, the highest quality submissions will be selected for oral communication, either as a short talk or a pitch talk. Abstracts submitted for oral presentation will automatically be considered for a poster presentation if not selected for an oral communication.

Authors will be notified about the outcome of their submission by November 4 (accepted/rejected - selected for short talk, pitch talk or poster). Note that notification emails will be sent from abstracts@belvir.be. If you do not receive any notification on the status of your submission by November 4, please check your spam folder.
