Adrian Harris
Princess Lilian Foundation | Visiting Professorship 2026
Prof. Adrian Harris was appointed as the first Professor of Medical Oncology in Oxford in 1989 and set up the first Medical Oncology Department in the University. As the director of the new Imperial Cancer Research Fund Unit at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine (WIMM) and a Clinical Unit at the Churchill Hospital, he rapidly established a phase I centre. He led a laboratory programme on tumour angiogenesis and hypoxia 1989-2020. Read more
