Best Poster prize for NARILIS research student, Julie Botman, at the AFSTAL 2016 conference!

Julie Botman is one of the students in Veterinary Medicine who spent time during her bachelor’s degree to perform a mini-research project. Under the supervision of Prof. Jean-Michel Vandweerd, she studied the effects of gaz anesthesia in pigeons.

The AFSTAL (French Association of Laboratory Animal Sciences and Techniques) congress was held on 12-14 October in Nantes (France). This conference gathers each year researchers around scientific, technical, regulatory and ethical thematics.

On this occasion, Julie Botman presented a poster entitled "L'anesthésie gazeuse du pigeon domestique: comparaison de l'isoflurane et du sévoflurane", which was awarded a Best Poster prize!
