Great first afterwork event fostering connections within NARILIS multidisciplinary research community!

On June 29, we held our first afterwork event, an unforgettable Quiz & Pizza party organized by NARILIS PhD Society. The event brought together 70 researchers from various fields, including biologists, biomedical scientists, chemists, physicists, pharmacists and veterinarians.

The quiz was the highlight of the evening. Divided into teams, researchers from different disciplines joined forces to tackle a series of questions on our institute’s missions, research thematics, ongoing projects, members, expertise and technological facilities. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the event was a great opportunity to breakdown barriers between research groups.

We warmly thank the five PhD students who took the initiative to organize this first edition: Sarah Mathieu, Christoph Schifflers, Louise Pierre, Giacomo Lopopolo and Karim Bouhjar.

Stay tuned for the next edition in October!

NARILIS PhD Society is an association of PhD students & postdocs. Its aim is to provide opportunities for networking among young researchers within and across different disciplines. It includes the organization of social events where members can connect and share ideas. It also seeks to create a welcoming community to new (foreign) researchers and to offer them guidance and assistance.
