NARILIS researchers at the 2025 Télévie closing evening

Once again this year, the UNamur community showed strong support for the fight against cancer by actively participating in the FNRS Télévie campaign.

On May 10, 2025, Vice-Rector Carine Michiels and Prof. Anne-Catherine Heuskin represented the UNamur at the Télévie closing evening, where they handed over a cheque of 20.000 €. They were accompanied by five NARILIS PhD students involved in Télévie-funded projects: Giacomo Lopopolo, Inès Bouriez, Manon Van Den Abbeel, Eloïse Rapport and Shalini Iyer. Our researchers are driving forward innovative projects aiming at improving our understanding and treatment of various cancers, including pancreatic, lung, breast, skin cancers and colorectal cancers as well as head and neck carcinoma.
