NARILIS symposium 2016 focused on "Stem cell research"
NARILIS symposium was held on the 23rd of April at the auditoire Heremans of the CHU UCL Namur (Godinne) and gathered ~60 researchers and clinicians around the thematic of stem cells.
Best poster prize for NARILIS PhD student Kathleen Schmit at the 12th meeting of the FRS-FNRS Contact Group on oxidative stress and antioxidants
Kathleen Schmit is a PhD student at the Laboratory of Cellular Biology of UNamur (URBC), within the "TumHyp - Tumor Hypoxia" team of Professor Carine Michiels. She conducts research on the mechanisms underlying anticancer drug resistance, and in particular, on the role of TMEM45A in head and neck cancer resistance to chemotherapeutic drugs.

Delphine del Marmol, PhD student at the Research Unit in Molecular Physiology (URPhym) of UNamur, is one of the three laureates of the Belgian competition "Ma Thèse en 180 secondes".

Dr Eléonore Longton is specializing in clinical radiotherapy at the CHU UCL Namur – CMSE, where she conducts a research work in the field of radiation therapy for head and neck cancers, under the mentorship of Dr Jean-François Daisne.

NARILIS PhD student, Marie Toutfaire, among the Poster Prize Winners at the ESDR 2015!
Marie Toutfaire is a PhD student at the Laboratory of Cellular Biology of UNamur (URBC) who conducts research on skin aging under the mentorship of Florence Chainiaux. She studies the impact of environmental stress and more precisely of UVB on skin cells.
